Dear Shepherd’s Heart supporters,
As the morning sun dawns over Ukraine, some people ‘celebrate’ Easter in the depths of a bomb shelter.
Jesus is alive and even in a time such as this, His grace reaches into those shelters and provides comfort to broken hearts. Christians, NGOs, and scores of volunteers from many countries are helping where they can. They go to devastated places, set up tables with food and toiletries, cook ‘plov’ (rice with meat and veggies), and pray for people.
The church “Word of Faith” in Warsaw led by Oleksandr Demianiuk has been coordinating help in places such as Kharkiv, Bucha, Kiev, Chernigov, and other hot spots. Polish church under the leadership of Bishop Marek Kaminski is doing amazing work taking care of the refugees in Poland. We are grateful to you for remembering Ukraine!
I am home for a short time and heading back into Poland at the end of April.
At this Easter time, we thank you all for your prayers and support.
