Dear SHM supporters,
Easter is now a memory, but what a memory it is for the refugees at one of the centers! The Ukrainian church was asked by the leaders of Warsaw to do a service on Easter Sunday. What a privilege it was to minister to people who are away from home and in need of encouragement!
As the war continues to rage, we are still sending food and supplies into Ukraine. Christian Life Assembly in Langley has helped to purchase this refrigerated van to carry cooked meals where most needed. Practically every day we get thankyou videos and pictures from all areas of Ukraine as people receive much-needed supplies.
We are excited about opening the first pre-school in the Ukrainian language! We are in the process of going through all the paperwork. Thanks to Compassionate Resource Warehouse in Victoria, we will have the equipment and necessary items to run this center. Please pray for an adequate facility that we hope to get from the city of Warsaw. There are mothers with children which are in refugee centers waiting to restart their normal life. Children in these centers are hoping for the normalcy of growing up like kids should with mom and dad and school to attend.
We also have launched care centers. Thanks entirely to the Shepherd’s Heart Ministries supporters, Warsaw and Lublin opened up houses for families with pastors providing shepherding care. Our dream is to open more of these in the coming weeks and months.
God is doing something unprecedented in Europe! I believe that He is releasing the church of Ukraine. 1/3 of refugees are believers and there are already 26 Ukrainian-speaking churches in Europe. We are very encouraged watching the Church rise up to the task!
I am currently in Germany with the OMEGA team helping to facilitate outreach and ministry in different parts of Europe. Here is just a small part of this 45-strong team.
The warehouse in Warsaw is continuing to send food and help with the funds from ERDO, and every day finding new ways to bless Ukraine.
We so appreciate your generosity and bless you as you share!
With gratitude,
Peter and Arlene Paluch
